About our Group

PEN is an organization created to support the endeavors involved in creative writing.  We gather monthly to engage in conversation about creative writing.  The conversation, or forum, will consist of all things involved in the creative writing process and pursuit of publication or recognition. We span the spectrum with our forums, discussing how to cultivate ideas into words and where and how to send your work off for publication.  Also incorporated in the conversation will be a round table discussion about member submissions, favorite passages from published authors and “cram sessions”, offering a diverse submission-critique environment.

Membership is open for all regularly enrolled at Texas Wesleyan University.  Additionally, Wesleyan Alumni or former students, faculty, staff, and those invited to PEN by majority vote of the executive committee can become honorary members.
